Non-Return Valves

Non-Return Valves are configured with bolted centre flanges for on-site dis-assembly and maintenance. Supplied in any size, for any operating pressure.
The valves can be supplied in a wide range of finishes to accommodate an almost inexhaustible range of fluids, with or without solids.

A wide range of body and diaphragm materials can be supplied in different combinations as required to withstand the effects of corrosive and erosive fluids and gases.

Valves have been supplied to handle methane gas, corrosive acids and FeSi2-grit.
Can be used in Slurries, Mine drainage, Water supply, Cooling towers, Clean water, Acids and Alkalines.

Operational Information

Diaphragm non-return valves

The valve make use of a central plate and rubber diaphragm to control flow. When the pump stops, the diaphragm contracts and seals against the boss at zero pressure, preventing reverse flow and water hammer.
Its soft rubber ensures a tight seal even with debris, operating silently and reliably for decades. The diaphragm—the only wearing part—absorbs pressure spikes, reducing system fatigue and maintenance for all components. While it eliminates surges in short pipelines, additional protection may be needed for very long systems.

STELKON
